Riverside House is an architect-designed ‘eco’ property built in 2017. It sleeps six in three bedrooms. It is open plan with high ceilings, a full height glass window looking out over the Sound of Mull and is 20 metres from the Aros River.
The house is well furnished: it’s a pleasure to spend time there enjoying the views, the luxurious furniture, the log burning stove and paintings by local artists. Outside it is a 5 min walk to Castle beach and the ruins of Aros Castle.
All three bedrooms are ensuite. There is a twin room, a king size room, and a superking size room which can also be converted to a twin room. The entrance hall is impressive and leads to the kitchen and dining area on one side and a cosy sitting room with log fire. There is a mezzanine study and ‘bean bag’ snug room for the children.
If the weather’s nice there is a BBQ and outdoor furniture.
