A former Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage in a spectacular remote location, a short walk from Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. Sleeps 6 in 3 ensuite

Built by the Stevensons in 1857, Rubha nan Gall Keeper’s Cottage has been completely renovated and now offers a comfortable home for up to 6 guests from which to enjoy the tranquil surroundings and abundant wildlife.

The Keeper’s Cottage is one of two cottages at Rubha nan Gall. The cottage has a large well-equipped kitchen & dining room with wood-burning stove, a cosy lounge with open fire and 3 bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms.

Access is via a coastal footpath, a 25 min walk from Tobermory and there is NO vehicle access. The cottage is off-grid, but solar panels, a spring water supply and free WiFi mean you probably won’t notice.

Accessibility

Guests will enjoy the whole of the Keeper's Cottage to themselves while the owners live next door in the attached cottage with a separate garden and entrance. There is NO road access to Rubha nan Gall which adds to the tranquility of your stay. Please note, you will need to carry luggage and shopping along the 2km footpath from Tobermory (25 mins), so it's best to bring rucksacks or easy to carry luggage.

We're offering short breaks for couples (min 3 nights) in Nov and Dec. Get in touch for more info.
