Salen Pier Point is located in a spectacular waterfront position, the only guests accommodation actually situated on a pier in Britain, apart from its neighbour Salen Pier Haven. Salen Pier Point has two double ensuite bedrooms sleeping 4 guests. The large picture windows in the living area provides expansive panoramic views of the beautiful Sound of Mull. Step out onto the boardwalk for alfresco refreshments, to watch the wildlife, the sunsets or go for a dip in the sea. Dogs are welcome.
The village of Salen is central to all other areas of the Isle of Mull, therefore the perfect location for exploring the island. Nearby Tobermory, with its colourful houses looped along the picturesque harbour, has excellent eateries, artisan shops, walks and boat trips. From there a trip to the north west of the island to visit Glengorm and Calgary Bay is recommended. The remote west coast road has spectacular views over offshire islands, leading to the South West of the island and the ferry to Iona. Keep the binoculars for a sighting of eagles, hen harriers, deer an otters.
