Riverside House is an architect-designed ‘eco’ property built in 2017. It sleeps six in three bedrooms. It is open plan with high ceilings, a full height glass window looking out over the Sound of Mull and is 20 metres from the Aros River.
The house is well furnished: it’s a pleasure to spend time there enjoying the views, the luxurious furniture, the log burning stove and paintings by local artists. Outside it is a 5 min walk to Castle beach and the ruins of Aros Castle.
All three bedrooms are ensuite. There is a king size room, and two superking size rooms which can both be converted to twin rooms. The entrance hall is impressive and leads to the kitchen and dining area on one side and a cosy sitting room with log fire. There is a mezzanine study and ‘bean bag’ snug room for the children.
If the weather’s nice there is a BBQ and outdoor furniture.
