Overlooking the iconic Tobermory Bay, Macgochans is the heartbeat of Tobermory, bringing locals and tourists together with the warmest of welcomes, delicious local food and drink, amazing live music and an incredible atmosphere.
With a focus on contemporary Scottish dining with a fresh local twist, Macgochans’ menus are designed to cater for the whole family and all dining requirements, while shining a spotlight on the amazing produce Mull and the surrounding area has to offer. Much of the seafood is sourced from local fishermen and comes directly from the bay in front of Macgochans; and much of the meat comes from local farms, Glengorm and Sgriob-Ruadh. Macgochans also offers offer an excellent range of delicious gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan dishes.
At Macgochans, the philosophy of using as much local produce as possible extends to the drinks range too. Local whiskies and gins, including those from neighbouring Tobermory Distillery, are not in short supply on the back-bar. Macgochans also offers an incredible range of beers and ciders, fantastic cocktails and a wonderful wine list, as well as great selection of soft drinks and delicious coffee
Macgochans is the social hub of Tobermory and is renowned for fantastic live music! It hosts a packed schedule of live music throughout the year – from up-and-coming local artists to established bands and DJs; from regular weekend sessions to special events; and from smaller, more intimate gigs to the Mull Music Festival – an incredible four days of live music every April!
