Kittiwake is a labour of love, hand and sustainably built using local wood and a boat as part of the roof and it is a lovely nest to hide away in.The Kittiwake is a brilliant and environmentally-friendly retreat away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. It does not have mains electricity, but it is insulated and cozy with a wood burning stove and solar lighting. There is a chemical loo outside below the hut, with a flushing loo and shower just 120m away in the Calgary Arts Cafe.
A wheelbarrow will be available for you to use to transport your luggage, supplies and water to and from the Hut.
