The Green Shed (formerly Iona Hostel) has been welcoming groups from around the world for many years. Its idyllic location, nestled in the dunes in the north of Iona, is private, yet only a 20 minute walk from the ferry crossing and Iona village. The seclusion, quietness and proximity to the North Beach is very much appreciated by guests.
There are three separate self contained apartments; the Snug and the Studio both sleep two, whilst the Sea Room sleeps up to ten. Larger groups regularly come to visit and take all three apartments.
New Year availability for 2025/26!
Due to a cancellation, we have availability for New Year for all three apartments or to take the whole shed for the six nights from the 29th December 2025 until the 3rd January 2026
