Situated in the heart of Fionnphort, a convenient 5 minute walk from the pier, Staffa House is an excellent starting point for trips to Iona, Staffa and the Treshnish Islands. This is a place to relax, to unwind and to feel close to the natural world and history of the Hebrides within sight of Iona and the sea.
Inside Staffa House and away from the hustle and bustle at the jetty, you will find high levels of comfort and peace as well as a warm welcome from the owners, who are friendly and experienced hosts and who have a keen eye for the details.
Recently refurbished, we offer four bedrooms which are all tastefully furnished and uncluttered with a focus on a super-comfy bed. Every room is en-suite with modern powerful showers and locally sourced organic toiletries as well as hairdryer, tea/coffee tray and home-made treats. Guests also have their own private lounge with a comfortable seating area, books and information. We also provide free access to super-fast broadband and car-parking for up to 4 vehicles.
Our lovely conservatory/dining room has superb views looking west to the Sound of Iona (great for sunsets!) and east to Ben Mor and is considered by many to be highlight of our home. It’s where you will be served your freshly cooked breakfast every morning as well as any suppers or dinners that have been arranged and with a “fork to fork” ethos at Staffa House, our lovely garden contains a wide range of fruit and vegetable plants that often find their way into the dining room and onto a guest’s plate.
