Lip na Cloiche Garden is a densely-planted haven, constructed on a steep wind-swept hillside on the rugged north west coast of Mull. From the top of the garden there are expansive views across the waters of Loch Tuath to Ben More, the Isle of Ulva and the Treshnish Isles. The garden is designed to host an eclectic mix of plants which combine and contrast with each other and fit well with their place in the garden. Plants range from exotic non-natives to herbaceous plants, alpine plants, flowering shrubs and native wildflowers
Adding interest to the garden are the many fascinating found objects recycled to new uses and beachcombed treasures integrated amongst the planting.
A wide range of plants and shrubs are for sale, propagated from plants growing in the garden and therefore of guaranteed hardiness. There are also crafts and cards for sale in the porch, made from beachcombed objects, and pressed local wildflowers.
