With the changes brought about by recent events, we thought visitors to the island this year might be interested in some of the wonderful produce available on the island, which in many cases can be delivered to your door this year, or picked up from a collection point, minimising contact with others.
Tobermory Bakery
Tuesday – Friday 10-2 deliveries available. Please order the day before collection – call 01688 302225 or 07592 630655 or message via the Bakery’s Facebook page (Tobermory Bakery) where there is a list of what is on offer, including general grocery items; ready meals; cakes and bread and fruit and veg boxes.
Tobermory Fish Company
Tobermory Fish Company can deliver for free (island-wide) or you can collect from the shop in Tobermory at Baliscate. Contact Sally via her Facebook page or 01688 302120. They have a Breakfast Box for £20; a Tobermory Smokehouse Box and an Island Seafood Box – options of £20 (small), £35 (med) and £50 (large) for both of those. The Breakfast Box: Local Bacon; Island Pork Sausages; Black Pudding; Bread; Tomatoes; Mushrooms; Baked Beans; 500ml Milk; 1/2 Doz Eggs. The Smokehouse Box: A mix of Smoked salmon, smoked haddock, smoked mussels, fish pate or fish pie and the Island Seafood Box: A mix of Langoustines, Oysters, Mussels, Scallops, Crab or Lobster.
Tobermory Stores
A range of groceries available for delivery on a weekly basis (Fridays) as far as Craignure/Lochdon (Dervaig and Salen covered too). An extensive deli selection; local island meats and dairy produce on offer from this independent store. Takeaway options too for collection in Tobermory. Lochbuie Larder
Providing delicious home-cooked ‘ready meals’ and meat & BBQ packs using all our own local produce. This is a pre-order service and all details, including a menu, can be found on The Old Post Office website. Island-wide deliveries or pick up locations available. Isle of Mull Cheese (Tobermory)
The farm in Tobermory has a shop/café at the Glass Barn where you can collect their award-winning cheese and pork products.
Glengorm Gardens
From the first week in July, you can contact Sarah at [email protected] or via her Facebook page (Glengorm Gardens) to see what homegrown produce (vegetables/salads etc) is available from the walled garden for collection.
Isle of Mull Ice Cream
Providing home deliveries in central and north Mull. Keep up to date with available flavours and delivery information via their Facebook page (Isle of Mull Ice Cream). Minimum order of £14 (equivalent to 2 x 500ml containers).
Dervaig Premier Store

Taste of Mull (Salen)
The Taste of Mull food van is based at Salen and offers take-away food such as fish and chips; sausage and chips; scampi and burgers. You can pre-order and see the full menu available on their Facebook page (The Taste of Mull). Deliveries are available locally.
Arlene’s Coffee Shop (Craignure)
Providing treat boxes (delicious desserts and chocolates) and ready meals (such as curries) on a regular basis, to all areas of the island. Check out their Facebook page (Arlene’s Coffee Shop) for more information and menus and to place an order.
Tiroran Whitetail Gin Café and Shop
Opening for takeaways and with outside seating this season. Ready-made food, sweet and savoury treats and of course Whitetail Gin available. You can pre-order deliveries in the south-west/Tiroran area of Mull. Contact 01681 705163 or email [email protected] to check on opening times.
Inverlussa Mussels (South Mull)
Fresh mussels are available for sale from an honesty box from Easter through to October, always open, but on rare occasions, the box does run out. Situated at the mussel farm ten minutes from Craignure on the road to Fionnphort.
The Old Post Office (Lochbuie)
The newly refurbished PO is opening its doors in July offering daily brunch, lunch and teas. They will also have basic grocery supplies, local meat, dairy, fish and when possible veg – see their website for further details or email [email protected].
Pennyghael Stores (Ross of Mull)

The Keel Row is doing a Thursday pizza or curry night, a carry-out menu on Fridays and chef’s special order on a Saturday night. All for collection or delivery.

Tobermory Open Air Producers Market
The Tobermory Open Air Producers Market is held every Monday, 11-2 pm at the harbour in Tobermory, by the pontoons overlooking Tobermory Bay. Wonderful local produce from the Isle of Mull including beef, pork, ham, sausages, venison, bacon, hot roast salmon, smoked trout, scallops, fish pie, cheese, honey, preserves, chutney, flowers. Herbs, fruit, veg, pies, pastries and original arts and crafts.
