MacKinnon’s Cave Guided Walk & Beach Clean

Mull Otter Group is hosting a guided walk to MacKinnon’s Cave.

Learn more about the wildlife and history of the area. The price is FREE but carry back as much beach litter as you can manage.

The 1-hour walk to MacKinnon’s Cave can be boggy, to begin with, and a bit awkward around the coast in places. Be prepared for a tiny bit of climbing. Please wear suitable footwear. Participation at your own risk.

Meet at the car park at Balmeanach: At Gribun take the turn off for Balmeanach PA68 6EH. Park on the right after the farmhouse.

Dogs must be kept on a lead so that livestock is undisturbed. The walk is timed for low tide as short stretches of the walk are tidal. Litter pickers will be provided.

There also may be a slice of cake afterwards!
