The Long House is an ideal holiday house for families, or for one or two couples, up to a maximum of six people in all.
We are centrally placed in Kintra which is an old fishing and crofting community in a peaceful sheltered bay on the northwest tip of the Ross of Mull. It overlooks the sound of Iona and is, at low tide, a mass of rock pools and the haunt of small crabs, sea urchins, sea anemones and shellfish. It affords a safe anchorage for those who wish to bring a boat and is ideal for canoeists, with sheltered rocky islets on the Mull side of the Sound of Iona. Oystercatchers and gulls nest round the bay with herons on an island just off the coast.
